“They want him back”

A laughter-filled, thought-provoking keynote. There was not one single moment that the audience felt disengaged… I cannot stress enough how wonderful Dr. Shippee was for our teachers. They absolutely loved him and want him back.

Natalia LeMoyne, Coordinator of Educational Technology, Guilderland Central School District · Digital Summer Summit keynote

His words set the tone for the day reminding teachers why they began their journey in teaching and the joy it brings them.

Nikole Blanchard, Director of Innovation & Technology, The Dunham School · opening keynote and workshops

A dynamic presenter who leverages emergent technology in a practical and effective way.

Lisa Stueve, Ed.D., Conference Chair, i2STEMe Interdisciplinary STEM Teaching & Learning Conference, Georgia Southern University · closing keynote

He sparked curiosity, created excitement, and always left us wanting more. His humour and unassuming approach brought comfortability to even our most hesitant technology users.

Simone Gessler, Assistant Superintendent of Learning, Yellowknife Catholic Schools · district leadership mentorship

Questions organizers ask

How far ahead should we book?

For in-person events, we recommend reaching out two to three months in advance. That leaves time for a planning conversation, travel arrangements, and tailoring the session to your audience.

Can a talk be customized for our initiative?

Yes. Before every speaking commitment, Micah holds a needs assessment call with your team to learn about your goals, your audience, and what success looks like for you. That conversation ensures his message fits your initiative and connects to the work already underway.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. Micah prefers to present in person, where he can connect directly with your audience, but virtual keynotes and workshops are available upon request, depending on availability. Just mention your interest in a virtual session in the booking form.

How do fees and travel work?

Fees vary by format, length, and location. Share your event details through the booking form, and Micah will follow up with options that fit your event.

Can sessions be recorded or livestreamed?

Recording and livestreaming are available for discussion. If you’d like to capture or broadcast the session, mention it in your inquiry and the details can be worked out during planning.

Can we pair a talk with a book study?

Absolutely. Bulk orders of 2059: The Future of Education are available, and Micah can join your group for a kickoff session, follow-up sessions, or both, turning a single event into ongoing learning.

Do Micah’s talks represent his employer?

No. This website and Micah’s speaking engagements represent his own ideas and opinions, not those of any agency or organization that employs him.
